About us

We were born in 2016 as an urgent call to take care of the environment from the private sector in Ecuador.

Since then, SICMA has been executing specific actions to address climate change, promoting a culture of transformation and sustainable economic growth.

In 2023 we officially crossed borders; with the opening of our Miami office, we continue to support our business partners on their sustainability journey, now on a global scale.

Our experience with various multinational companies allows us to carry out high quality environmental management processes; this motivates us to promote the construction of environmentally responsible and sustainable companies.

Our team

We have a high-performance multidisciplinary technical team, with extensive experience in different sectors. Internationally qualified, our team members are constantly trained and have great technical and human skills.

Our journey through time

Founded in 2016, SICMA emerges as a response to the private sector's growing concern about global warming.

From the beginning, we promote a culture of sustainable economic growth and introduce an innovative concept in the business world: the possibility for companies to thrive in harmony with the environment.

We took a crucial step forward by creating a reinforced organizational structure with the division of three areas: Business, Operations and Environmental.

This allows us to provide a more complete and focused service, improving quality and efficiency in each project.

Our focus on excellence is continuously strengthened, and we are committed to being your strategic partner in environmental issues.

Launched the second version of HeVA, enhancing its environmental monitoring capabilities.

We established our first international partnerships, expanding our global reach and collaborating with experts around the world in the search for effective environmental solutions.

We partnered with Diatom, an environmental consulting firm in Puerto Rico, to work together, sharing technical and administrative expertise, enhancing the reach of both companies.

With the opening of our offices in Guayaquil, we have expanded not only our presence, but also our team and portfolio of business partners, strengthening our commitment in the Coastal Region of Ecuador.

We introduced GoNeutral, the most effective and friendly program for companies seeking to obtain different degrees of International Carbon Neutrality Certification.

We were recognized as Ecuadorian Company of the Year, for achieving a business quality that links triple impact objectives (Environmental - Social - Governance), while supporting the achievement of the SDGs.

SICMA expanded its global reach with the opening of offices in Miami, United States, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability worldwide.

We introduced GoSustainable, a comprehensive tracking program that enables organizations to maintain their sustainable goals over time by implementing different initiatives.

We developed the new HeVA Carbon Calculator, providing companies with an effective way to measure their environmental impact and take concrete actions.
